I meant to take a picture of this ages ago, since the semester ended in May, but I just never got around to it. The final assignment in my drawing class was to take an item or items and draw them in some visually interesting arrangement. Blah blah blah. I was feeling entirely uninspired, and so I decided that Trooper Helmets were interesting enough to draw. That, and Ep III was going to come out in a few weeks.

The two helmets on the bottom of the V and the helmet at the point of the V are helmets from the movies. The other two are amalgamations of the helmets on either side. It's supposed to show the evolution of the Trooper helmet. The background...I was trying for a stylized cloud from an explosion. I like it even if it doesn't look all 'splosiony. It's not a great picture since my camera sucks as does the lighting in my apartment (It's dim to prevent headaches), and there are a few charcoal smudges from when my prof put the piece into a folder with my charcoal figure sketches (GRR!). I wanted to clean it up, but I'm fairly sure it won't happen without a reason.
