Peacock Faerie V2 by FenigDurak Peacock Faerie V2 by FenigDurak
Somewhat reworked peacock faerie. Wings redone, make up redone, crown added, top remade. The original version was made in 2004 for the National Costume Association Annual Convention. I was never completely happy with it, so I finally had an opportunity to remake the costume. I'm still not completely happy with it (I have a few ideas on what to change yet again for V3) but I'm happy with it for now. I'm also not thrilled that I had forgotten to take my dang con badge off for this picture, so it's there, slightly hidden by skirt.

Wow, your wings are great! You're the second person I've ever seen with wings like these. Great job!!

Oh.
My.
God.

That's the most beautiful thing you have done in a long series of beautiful things.

I can't even express how impressed I am.

Thanks honey! I'm hoping that when I remake it (yet again) that I'll finally achieve what I'd been going for. But I need to go to Cambodia first for the silk. ;)

I did a lot of that. Wing petting I mean. When the feathers were still in bundles, they were so soft!
